The musical success from the makers of the cult film

Teenager Ren McCormack loves his life in Chicago and one thing above all - dancing. But after his parents split up, he and his mother are forced to move in with relatives in the small town of Bomont. And it gets worse: in the Bible-believing community, rock music, alcohol and dancing are forbidden. Behind this is the local priest and a stroke of fate that has changed the people there forever...

When Ren falls in love with the priest's daughter, things get even more complicated and he starts to fight back against all the injustices. He soon has the other youths on his side and their fight for freedom begins.
