The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin has risen slightly once again.

2797 new infections in one day

2797 new Coronavirus infections were last recorded within one day, according to Tuesday's situation report of the Berlin Senate on Tuesday. This brings the total number of registered infections since the start of the pandemic in spring 2020 to 1,016,756.

Rapid tests often no longer followed by a PCR test

However, experts assume that many cases are not recorded because not all rapid tests are reliable and because positive rapid tests are not always followed by a PCR test. 13 new deaths

According to the statistics, 13 new deaths related to Covid-19 were added. In total, 4525 deaths related to Corona infection have been counted in Berlin since the start of the pandemic.
