S-Bahn service suspended due to radio interference

Lokführerstreik - Impressionen

Deutsche Bahn service has been suspended nationwide due to a radio malfunction. A Deutsche Bahn spokesperson confirmed this in the evening in response to an inquiry from the dpa news agency.

For the time being, all trains are being held at stations. This also applies to Berlin S-Bahn trains. S-Bahn service in Berlin has been suspended since 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday. As the company announced on its website, the problem is a “network-wide disruption in the communication system.” Passengers and travelers are advised to check with the Berlin S-Bahn and Deutsche Bahn for updates on the current situation.

Buses, trams, and subways are not affected by the disruption and are operating as usual.
