Coronavirus incidence in Berlin falls to 900

The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin continued to decline and was at 901.9 on Friday morning (March 04, 2022).

The incidence value indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. A few days ago, the numbers were still well above 1000, according to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). The average nationwide incidence was at just under 1200 on Friday. 7007 new Coronavirus infections were registered in Berlin within one day, bringin the total to about 760,000. 10 new deaths related to the virus were reported, so that the total number of Covid-related deaths in Berlin since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 4273.
