Construction work: Landsberger Allee closed at night

Baustellenschild

Starting next Friday, Landsberger Allee in Marzahn will be closed for seven nights due to new construction and reconstruction work.

The nightly partial closures extend until November, as the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment announced on Monday. The first closure will be from 8pm on July 28 to 8am on July 29. After that, the period between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. will be affected from 1 to 4 August, from September 13 to 16, and from November 13 to 14.

Installation of bridge components

According to the Senate Department, the reason for the closures is the insertion of bridge components at the Marzahn traffic junction, a combination of three multi-lane road bridges at the intersection of Landsberger Allee and Märkische Allee in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. During this period, Landsberger Allee is not passable for road traffic from the Pyramidenring out of town and from the Märkische Allee exit into town. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic as well as tram operations are not affected by the closures.
