Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer is dead. She died on Friday at the age of 103, as announced by the Margot Friedländer Foundation in Berlin. more
The strike of workers in the aviation security area, passenger control and personnel and goods control will start at 3.30 a.m. and end at midnight, Verdi announced on Saturday morning. Due to the strike, no passenger flights will be able to take off from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport on Monday. Arrivals could also be affected, to be decided by the respective airline, an airport spokesperson told the Deutsche Presse-Agentur on Saturday.
