Berlin's streets to become safer
The number of road deaths is higher than it has been for a long time. The Senate wants to counteract this with a series of measures. more

On Saturday, the Hanfparade (Hemp Parade) will take place in Mitte. Traffic restrictions and road closures are expected.
As early as 6 am, Spandauer Straße at Alexanderplatz will be closed in both directions between Rathausstraße and Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. The opening and closing rallies will take place there. The closure will last into the night.
After the opening rally, the demonstration will start at 3 p.m. from Alexanderplatz. The route will be successively closed and reopened after the participants have passed through. The route will lead via the Museum Island and the street unter den Linden, through the government quarter, via Friedrichstraße and Französische Straße back to Alexanderplatz.
