Mitte district launches vaccination against monkeypox

Berlin's Mitte district is launching vaccination against monkeypox this Wednesday at its sexual health outreach center.

Interested parties can make appointments by calling the telephone hotline at (030) 90 18 41 000, according to an officer of the city's health department. Vaccinations are also to be possible in other facilities in Berlin.

Vaccination soon also possible in doctors' offices and clinics

According to the press officer of the Senate Department of Health, Laura Hofmann, practices, clinics and other facilities will be supplied starting this Wednesday. The German Association of Outpatient Physicians for Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine (dagnä e.V.) has published a preliminary list of vaccination sites on Twitter.
