From the internationally renowned Berlinale to smaller festivals revolving around a particular genre or country, Berlin's film festivals offer many highlights for cineastes and movie lovers. more
This year, the festival is taking place for the sixth time in various Berlin cinemas. The program once again features a successful mix of timeless classics and exciting new discoveries. For example, "Ennio - Il Maestro", a homage to Ennio Morricone, will be shown. Also shown will be "Subharchord - A Future thet never happened," "Tramps!" and "A Sound of her own." A special highlight will be the live performance of musician Marja Burchard after the screening of the film "Embryo".
