Daniel Boyd is one of the most renowned contemporary Australian artists. His works address Australia's Indigenous past and present as well as the legacy of colonialism and its effects. The exhibition "Rainbow Serpent (Version)" at the Gropius Bau in Berlin brings together works that describe Daniel Boyd's artistic practice in two ways. In addition to the numerous themes that the artist deals with in his image-making, the focus is also on the critical examination of the context and architecture of the Gropius Bau as a place to present his works.
