Luondu Luonddus: As a Part of Nature, We Are Nature

«Luondu Luonddus» shows different artistic reflections from Nordic regions as well as indigenous perspectives on the theme of nature with video works, sculptures, paintings, photographs and installations.

The exhibition at the Felleshus of the Nordic Embassies features 24 artworks by six renowned artists from Iceland, Kalaallit Nunaat and the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish parts of Sápmis - a transnational region stretching from Norway to the Kola Peninsula in Russia.

The selected works address a relationship between man and nature that ranges from mythical-surreal to conflictual and existentially threatening.

On display are works by Sigurður Guðjónsson, Julie Edel Hardenberg, Marja Helander, Outi Pieski, Máret Ánne Sara and Anders Sunna.
