Mantegna and Bellini exhibition extends opening hours

To date, Gemäldegalerie has recorded around 160,000 visitors for the exhibition "Mantegna and Bellini. Masters of the Renaissance". The opening hours have been extended for the last two weeks.

From 18 to 30 June 2019 the exhibition "Mantegna and Bellini. Masters of the Renaissance" will be open on weekdays and weekends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The range of guided tours will also be extended for the last two weeks. "With an additional 28 hours, we would like to invite Berliners in particular to the final spurt of the exhibition," says Michael Eissenhauer, Director General of the National Museums in Berlin and Director of the Gemäldegalerie und Skulpturensammlung The exhibition compares the work of the two Renaissance artists Andrea Mantegna and Giovanni Bellini.
