Viva Victoria: Neighborhood Festival in Lichtenberg

  • Viva Victoria (2)
  • Viva Victoria (1)

In 2026, Victoriastadt will host its 26th annual family and neighborhood festival. The highlight every year is the wild rubber duck race.

Every year, around 5,000 visitors gather in the Kaskelkiez neighborhood for this colorful festival. Viva Victoria is organized by the nonprofit SozDia to promote community spirit and civic engagement in the neighborhood. Local organizations and foundations set up booths to introduce themselves. In addition, around 50 flea market and street food stalls invite visitors to browse and stroll.

Rubber Duck Race and Kids' Program

A popular highlight every year is the swimming duck race with up to 750 squeaky ducks. There is musical entertainment on stage, including the SozDia show band and children's dance performances. Sustainability plays a major role at Viva Victoria: the culinary stands offer regional and fairly produced delicacies from organic produce.
