Every year, the Berlin Museum of European Cultures organizes the European Culture Days focusing on a particular country or region.
The respective country is examined from various perspectives in an extensive program of events with different formats. In previous years, Poland, Estonia, Greece, Småland, Georgia, Scotland and Slovakia were among the countries honored. In 2026, the focus is on Tyrol.
In 2026, the European Culture Days will focus on the Tyrol region and feature concerts, film screenings, readings, workshops, and guided tours. The program will be complemented by a yodeling workshop, a climbing day, a Tyrolean picnic, and an open-air summer cinema, all of which will highlight the culture and landscape of the Alpine region from various perspectives.
