Every summer, the Citadel Music Festival stages a series of rock, pop and electronic music concerts at an amazing location: the historic citadel in Berlin-Spandau.

Located in the Spandau district in the western outskirts of Berlin, the Spandau Citadel is an ancient stronghold from the Renaissance period and one of the best-preserved fortresses in Europe. The open-air concert stage is surrounded by massive old walls and buildings which generate a very special atmosphere that attracts top international artists and music fans from all over the world.

Open Air Summer Concerts

The Citadel Music Festival has never been restricted to a certain type of music. From pop to punk, from techno to folk - expect legendary artists and exciting newcomers from all different genres. Some highlights of this year's line-up are singer-songwriter PJ Harvey, English pop group Take That, rock bands ZZ Top and Korn, Keane and French electronic music duo Air.
