Hike to the Museum with Jause
Wanderung mit Wissenswertem im Grunewald

On the way to the Museum Europäischer Kulturen, the Grunewald becomes an Alpine classroom. Together with Bernd Schröder, participants set off on a roughly ten-kilometre walk that combines time in nature with an exploration of ideas. Along the way, the group touches on how glaciers shaped mountain landscapes, the history of alpinism, and the connections between Tyrol and Berlin.
The hike ends in the garden of the Museum of European Cultures, where participants are welcomed with a shared Jause – the Tyrolean version of a hearty snack – included in the price. Over a bite to eat, there will be time to chat and explore the day's themes further.
Sturdy footwear and a reasonable level of fitness are required for the route.
Meeting point: S-Bahn station Heerstraße
