Hike in the Grunewald

Wanderung im Grunewald

Wanderung im Grunewald

On the way to the Museum of European Cultures, the Grunewald becomes an alpine learning landscape. Together with Bernd Schröder from the Berlin chapter of the German Alpine Club, participants embark on a hike of about ten kilometers that combines experiencing nature with learning. Along the way, the focus is on how mountain landscapes were shaped by glaciers, the history of alpinism, and the connections between Tyrol and Berlin.
The hike ends in the garden of the Museum of European Cultures. There, participants will enjoy a shared snack—the Tyrolean version of a “Brotzeit.” This is included in the price. Over a light snack, there will be an opportunity to chat and delve deeper into the topics.
An event in cooperation with the Berlin Section of the German Alpine Club.
