What changes make cultural institutions sustainable and socially effective? What forms of cultural work are necessary to meet the challenges of a changing society? Together with actors from culture, education and society, we explore the potential of outreach for forward-looking processes in museums and memorial sites.
The conference, featuring presentations and workshops, is aimed at an interested audience from the fields of cultural, historical and political education. Moderated by Aisha Camara. With contributions from a representative of education and outreach at Manifesta 16 Ruhr, Havîn Al-Sîndy, Idil Efe, Anna Lampert, Roman Singendonk, and others.
The event is the Kick-off event for the cooperation between the Bundesakademie für kulturelle Bildung Wolfenbüttel and Haus Bastian and the qualification course of the same name in 2026.
