Incidence in Berlin falls to 357

Corona-Tests

The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin has fallen to about 357. This value of reported infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week was announced by the Robert Koch Institute on Tuesday (April 19, 2022).

106 new infections with the Coronavirus were registered. Thus, the total number of registered infections in Berlin was brought to about 964,000. Nationwide, the incidence value was just under 670.

Current figures probably too low

However, because of the Easter holidays and fewer tests and reports, the current numbers may be too low, the RKI said. No new deaths have been reported. Since the beginning of the pandemic about two years ago, 4427 people have died in connection with the virus.
