Coronavirus incidence in Berlin falls further

The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin has fallen slightly again. In the past seven days, just under 954 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.

The figures were published in data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) provided on Thursday (March 31, 2022). On the previous days, the incidence values had still been significantly above 1000. Berlin continues to have the lowest incidence of all federal states. Nationwide, the weekly incidence for new infections is around 1625, according to the RKI.

Twelve new deaths reported

7613 new Corona infections were registered within one day. The total number for Berlin thus rose to around 905,000. Twelve new deaths were reported. Thus, 4381 deaths related to Coronavirus infections have been counted so far.
