Incidence in Berlin goes down, remains at high level

The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin has fallen slightly, but remains at a high level. In the past seven days, 1005 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.

This is according to data published by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Wednesday (March 30, 2022). On the previous day, the incidence value was at 1076. Nationwide, the weekly incidence for new infections is currently at around 1663, according to the RKI.

Over 7000 new infections in one day

7005 new Corona infections were registered within one day. The total number for Berlin was thus 897,659. Six new deaths were reported. Thus, 4369 deaths related to Coronavirus infections have been counted in Berlin so far.
