In Berlin, unvaccinated people will once again be granted access to restaurants, pubs, cafés and hotels.
This was decided by the Senate at its meeting on Tuesday (March 01, 2022) and subsequently announced by Berlin's Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD). From Friday, the Coronavirus regulations will be relaxed accordingly. The 3G rule will apply for restaurants and the hotel industry, meaning that unvaccinated people with a same-day negative Coronavirus test will be allowed to be guests there again.
The Berlin Senate thus implemented the agreements reached by the federal and state governments in their three-stage plan for the gradual easing of restrictions. This also applies for the Berlin clubbin scene. Clubs will be allowed to reopen under 2G-plus conditions. This means that vaccinated and recovered people will have access after taking an additional Covid test. Prior testing is also mandatory for clubgoers who have received their booster vaccination.
