Corona numbers in Berlin, once again, have declined somewhat.

Incidence drops below 1300

On Saturday (Feb. 12, 2022), the Senate reported a seven-day incidence of 1324.7, down from 1413.8 the previous day. This indicates the number of new Corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. The downward trend in Berlin has continued for several days, while the incidence nationwide has still increased somewhat. The Robert Koch Institute gave the nationwide average on Saturday morning as 1474.3. The previous day, the value had been 1472.2.

Three more deaths

According to information from Saturday, 5406 new Corona cases were registered in Berlin within 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic about two years ago, about 645,000 people were infected in the capital. Three deaths were added. Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4167 people have died in Berlin from or with the virus.
