Coronavirus incidence in Berlin at around 1760

The Coronavirus continues to spread in Berlin. In the past seven days, approximately 1761 new infections per 100,000 people have been reported.

Over 12,200 new infections and 17 new deaths

This is according to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Tuesday morning (Feb. 1, 2022). The previous day, the incidence had been given as 1821. According to the RKI, the nationwide seven-day incidence is at about 1206. In Berlin, more than 12,200 new infections were reported. On Monday morning, this number had been significantly lower, but at that time data from many districts were missing. There were 17 additional deaths, bringing the total number of deaths related to Coronavirus infection in Berlin to 4124 so far.
