The figure indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been proven to be infected with the Coronavirus in the past seven days. However, the Berlin Senate's situation report pointed out on Tuesday that data from the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf could not be transmitted due to technical problems. Berlin continues to have the second highest Coronavirus incidence of all German states, after Bremen and ahead of Hamburg.

Around 7500 new infections
According to RKI data, 7559 new infections were reported in Berlin between Monday and Tuesday. This brought the total number of all confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic to 404,691. No other Covid-19-related deaths were recorded. Since the pandemic began, 4067 people in Berlin have been confirmed to have died from or with the virus.
