Rent cap extended until 2029

The trees may still be autumnal yellow, but amateur ice skaters in Berlin can already start doing their laps again. Today, the Neukölln ice rink and the Lankwitz ice rink are kicking off this year's winter season. More rinks are set to follow soon.
The newly renovated ice rink in Werner-Seelenbinder-Sportpark in Neukölln, the ice could already be tested free of charge on Friday, and now regular operations are starting. Until March 15, the stadium will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. On Sundays and public holidays, it will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Every Monday and Wednesday, senior skating will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. alongside public skating.
The ice rink in Lankwitz offers skaters a 1,800 square meter area to let off steam, dance, and play hockey, according to the website. French fries and mulled wine are also available. The ice rink is open at different times throughout the week: Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At the Erika Hess Ice Rink, recreational skaters will have to be patient a little longer. According to the district office responsible, the stadium's popular open-air ice rink is set to reopen between mid- and late December. The indoor rink has been open since October 21 and is used extensively by ice hockey clubs.
On November 14, skates can be unpacked at the ice rink at the Grünau lido. The 600-square-meter ice rink at the Friedrichshagen seaside resort is scheduled to open on November 29. The 1,000-square-meter indoor ice rink hall will also open on that day.
