Due to construction work, the opening date for public ice skating in the Erika Heß ice stadium has been postponed to the 2025/26 season.

The third largest ice rink in Berlin, located in the Wedding district, has a covered ice skating rink as well as an open outdoor area that is popular in winter with residents of the district as well as Berliners from other parts of the city.
