Compulsory isolation for persons infected with Covid ends in Berlin

Positiver Corona-Test

As of this Monday, people with a confirmed Covid infection in Berlin no longer have to isolate themselves.

This was decided by the Berlin Senate last Tuesday. The Infection Protection Ordinance in which the isolation mandate was regulated expires on February 13. The abolition of the isolation mandate was coordinated with Brandenburg. Thus, Berlin and Brandenburg are the last federal states in which the duty to isolate is done away with.
