On Saturday, the 44th Christopher Street Day takes place in Berlin. Traffic participants must expect restrictions in Mitte, Schöneberg and Tiergarten.
The Christopher Street Day Parade will run from Leipziger Straße through Potsdamer Platz, Nollendorfplatz and past the Victory Column to the Brandenburg Gate. März as well as Ebertstraße between Dorotheenstraße and Behrenstraße will be set up starting at 8 am. Further closures will take place on Saturday from 6 am on Yitzhak-Rabin-Strasse, Straße des 17 Juni to Großer Stern, Leipziger Straße and John-Foster-Dulles-Allee. Großer Stern will also be completely closed from midday until the end of the parade at around 8 pm.
The Berlin public transport company BVG also expects restrictions of public transport due to the large number of visitors. In particular, access restrictions are expected to be put in place at the Brandenburg Gate, Bundestag and Nollendorfplatz subway stations.
