Jenny Michel: How we move through time and space
February 06 - March 04, 2023
Berlin-based artist Jenny Michel's solo exhibition features poetic drawings and intricate collages with multi-layered printed text.
With her new solo show at Galerie FeldbuschWiesnerRudolph, Jenny Michel presents an excerpt from her current series of works "Leaves of Eden - Leaving Eden". In her works on paper, objects, and expansive installations, the artist examines the signs and messages that are meaningfully inscribed in the artifacts of human civilization and uses them to create her utopian stories of a post-anthropocentric age.
Recycling, Reusing and Transforming
With her artistic strategy of recycling, weaving and transforming material and knowledge, Jenny Michel wants to make a contribution within the framework of a scientific-artistic movement that is committed to the continuation of the planet and its inhabitants.
