Festival of Animation
September 29 - October 01, 2023
For three days, the Festival of Animation is all about the fascinating format of animated film.

Over 150 films and positions will be shown at the seventh edition of the festival in 2023. The heart of the festival is the competition program, which shows current short films from five categories: German Animated Film, International Animated Film, New Talent (Young Filmmakers), Pink Panda (animations for children) and Animated Commissioned Film (animations from the commercial sector).
Supporting Program with Workshops
A colorful program with feature-length screenings, interactive offerings, workshops, master classes, exhibitions and discussion rounds complement the competition and wholly transport visitors into the world of animation. A special highlight is the third edition of the exhibition series "FAB Dimensional" in Silent Green. Ten international works will be shown this year.
