From the internationally renowned Berlinale to smaller festivals revolving around a particular genre or country, Berlin's film festivals offer many highlights for cineastes and movie lovers. more
This year's edition will once again feature many different films and positions. The centerpiece is the competition program, which shows current short films from five categories: German Animated Film, International Animated Film, New Talents (Young Filmmakers:inside), Pink Panda (animations for children) and Animated Commissioned Film (animations from the commercial sector). In addition to exciting competitions, the festival offers a varied supporting program all about the world of animation.
