The Afrikamera film festival promotes contemporary African cinema and young African filmmakers in the German capital.

The Afrikamera Festival sees itself as a new permanent platform for dialogue between African moviemakers and the Berliner audience, and as a venue for exchange between filmmakers, producers and distributors. Young African filmmakers are given a platform to develop and present their own visions of African cinema.
