From 2024 to 2027, the Afrikamera film festival will focus on four consecutive themes: Believe, Change, Reflect and Create.

Contemporary cinema from Africa has been on the upswing for years. The festival aims to showcase the diverse, inspiring, pioneering and sometimes contradictory perspectives from society and politics on the African continent. The 2024 motto is «Change».
