DFB Cup Final in Berlin

The DFB Cup final is the soccer highlight of the year at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

64 teams (36 clubs from the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and 28 teams from the lower leagues) compete in five rounds to reach the final. Games are played from August to April, with the cup final taking place in May. The DFB Cup winner qualifies for the UEFA Europa League.

The FC Bayern Munich remains the record winner of the DFB Cup with 17 victories, followed by Werder Bremen and FC Schalke 04.

DFB Cup Final 2023: RB Leipzig vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig will meet at Berlin's Olympic Stadium for the final on June 3, 2023. Leipzig beat SC Freiburg 5:1 in the semifinals while Frankfurt won its semifinal match 3:2 against VfB Stuttgart.

Fan Meet-ups on Breitscheidplatz and at Messe Berlin

In the run-up to the game, large fan gatherings are held every year. In 2023, Frankfurt fans will meet on Breitscheidplatz at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The programme starts at 12 noon and ends around 4 pm. RB Leipzig fans will hold their fan festival before the final match starting at 1 p.m. on Hammarskjöldplatz between Messe Berlin and the ZOB. From there, fans can walk to the nearby Olympic Stadium.

DFB Cup at Berlin City Hall

Anyone who wants to take a close look at the famous DFB Cup will have the opportunity to do so at the Red Town Hall. From May 23 to June 01, 2023, the cup can be viewed daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets for the DFP Cup Final 2023

The demand for tickets for the DFB Cup Final is very high every year, which is why fans need to apply for tickets beforehand. The application phase for the DFB Cup Final has already been completed. Ticket prices start at around €70. The ticket allocation takes place in a lottery procedure. Fans can apply for a maximum of four tickets at the German Football Association (DFB).
