The "Fanmeile" is the largest public viewing venue during basically every major football tournament. The event is located on the Straße des 17. Juni in the Tiergarten district between Brandenburg Gate and Große Querallee.

Public Viewing XXL

Almost two kilometres long, the Fanmeile provides much space for a gigantic football fan party. There are several large video screens at the venue which provide an excellent view of the matches from all positions. In 2014 the German national football team, winner of the World Cup, was enthusiastically welcomed here by hundreds of thousands of excited fans.

Which football matches will be screened live in Berlin?

If the Fanmeile will be screening any matches of the German national team or matches of the knockout stage is still uncertain.

Main stage and screens at the Fanmeile

The Fanmeile has a 80 square metres XXL screen at Brandenburg Gate and several large video screens along Straße des 17. Juni. The main stage with the live programme is located at Brandenburg Gate.

Security checks and safety

There are security checks at all entrances. Items that are not allowed on the Fanmeile grounds will be seized by the security staff. These include sharp items, items that can be used as weapons, glass bottles, aerosol cans, mugs, large bags, suitcases, chairs, fireworks and other pyrotechnic articles, large flagpoles, megaphones, alcoholic beverages, animals and laser pointers.
