The East Side Tour focuses on the best-known sights along the river Spree in the eastern part of Berlin and includes highlights in the government quarter.
This 2.5-hour-cruise on the river Spree starts in the city centre near Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station and follows the Spree towards the east.
The tour starts at the "Alte Börse" pier heading east, past the much-noted Humboldt Forum and the historic Nikolai Quarter. After the lock through the Mühlendammschleuse, the tour goes past various embassies, through the beautiful Oberbaumbrücke, through the Osthafen with Badeschiff and Molecule Man to the Treptow harbour. In front of the Alt Stralau peninsula, the ship turns around and sails through the Oberbaumbrücke to the "East-Side-Gallery.
With the East-Side-Gallery behind you, the boat tour leads back to the centre of Berlin and passes the Nikolai Quarter, the Humboldt Forum and the internationally famous Museum Island once again. The tour then continues through the parliamentary and government quarter with the Reichstag building and the Federal Chancellery. After the House of Cultures and in front of Bellevue Palace, the ship turns again and returns to the "Alte Börse" landing stage.
If boat tours are prohibited and therefore the "East-Side-Tour" is not possible, we will refund the full ticket price.
