During their residency, the artists Imogen Pickles and Janna Hoffmann explore questions such as: What defines minimalism in dance, and how do psychological, aesthetic, and sonic elements shape our perception of what is essential, beautiful, and complete? How can we embody a utopian space through the reduction of movement to its essentials? How can the interplay of sound, movement, and chance generate a utopian experience in the studio?
"reinkommen" ("coming in") is ada Studio's latest performance series. It gives young choreographers the opportunity to open their work process, invite the audience to come in and to get into conversation.
