Under Pine trees...

The project Under Pine Trees… reimagines the classic sculpture garden. An artistic nature trail is being created on the large wooded grounds surrounding the Brücke Museum. Nine artists and collectives will present new site-specific works that allow visitors to experience ecological learning processes in sculptural, conceptual and performative ways. All artworks will be produced in a climate-neutral manner and the process of sustainable artistic work will be made transparent to the public.

At the same time, the museum is showing an exhibition that examines the historical quest of the Brücke artists for harmony between man and nature, thus linking and deepening Under Pine Trees… with the historic museum collection.

Artists: Mirja Busch, Conde de Torrefiel, Club Real, Guerilla Architects, Andreas Greiner, Jenny Kendler, Michael Meier & Christoph Franz. 

The exhibition is made possible by the Zero Fund of the German Federal Cultural Foundation.
