Museum Workshop for Children

– Fünf Kinder sitzen an einem Tisch und sind in eine kreative Aktivität vertieft, mit Papieren, Stiften und durchsichtigen Farbfolien.

Courious artists wanted! Each week, you’ll meet up with other children in the museum workshop at Haus Bastian to paint, create collages, explore, and experiment. Along the way, you’ll view the collections of Museum Island from the perspectives that interest you most! What stories do the exhibits reveal? And what questions do they raise? By creating your own artworks, you’ll discover Museum Island piece by piece. The session begins and ends at Haus Bastian.  In November, the focus is on friendship. You’ll look at how friendships are depicted in art—or at works that grew out of friendships—and explore how your own creative approach might change when working within a group.  Just drop by and check it out!
