Live-Restaurierung am PETRI Berlin
Im zweiten Obergeschoss des PETRI werden die frischen Funde vom Molkenmarkt direkt im Ausstellungsraum restauriert.

Archäologische Funde kommen oft stark beschädigt aus dem Boden oder sind von Zerfall bedroht. Sie zu sichern, zu kitten und zu bewahren ist Aufgabe von Restauratorinnen und Restauratoren. Es gehört zum Arbeitsalltag am PETRI Berlin.
Am Werkstatttisch in der Ausstellung zeigt ein angehender Experte von der Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, wie Restaurieren funktioniert. Er teilt sein Wissen und beantwortet Fragen. Aus nächster Nähe könnt ihr sehen, wie ein originaler Fund bearbeitet wird, welche Methoden und Werkzeuge zum Einsatz kommen und was die größten Herausforderungen sind.
Der Werkstatttisch befindet sich vor der Restaurierungswerkstatt im 2. Geschoss. Kommt einfach vorbei, ohne Anmeldung und jederzeit!Dieses kostenlose Angebot richtet sich an Erwachsene und Kinder ab 6 Jahren.Erwachsene zahlen den regulären Eintritt in die Ausstellung: 6 Euro / ermäßigt 3 Euro.Der Eintritt ist für Kinder und Jugendliche bis 18 Jahre frei.
