The exhibition features approximately 40 large-format works and traces all phases of the artist’s career—from the early photographic montages of the 1960s through the self-portrait series of the 1970s through the 1990s, works addressing the Nazi era, the Cold War, and global crises from the 1980s onward, all the way to the cosmic film projections of the 2010s and her most recent works from the early 2020s. In addition to the large-format photographic montages, which are presented both as posters and in frames, the exhibition also features multichannel slide projections and room-filling film installations.
