Enchanting Colour: Collection De Gambs & Marta Djourina

Chaussee 36 Photography is pleased to present the group exhibition “Enchanting Color,” which explores the creative possibilities of color photography from the 1940s to the present.

The exhibition is based on a dialogue between works by seven prominent photographers and the contemporary works of Berlin-based artist Marta Djourina.

The exhibition explores the enchanting—almost magical—qualities of color and its ability to transcend reality. For this occasion, a selection of iconic works from the De Gambs Collection—including prints never before shown to the public—will be presented across various genres: fashion, nude, and experimental photography.
