A wolf roams the forests around a Tyrolean village. At the same time, plans for a new hotel on an Alpine pasture are causing friction. Caught in the middle are five young people grappling with expectations, conflicts and very different ideas about the future.
In her award-winning novel "Problemwölfe", Austrian author Agi Ofner writes about social tensions that go far beyond the question of whether humans or wolves deserve more space in the landscape. It is about competing interests, polarisation and how difficult it can be to find common ground between opposing positions.
Author Agi Ofner will read from her book and then speak about how it came to be written. The event is aimed at young people and adults alike.
