On four summer weekends, DURCHLÜFTEN transforms the Humboldt Forum’s Schlüterhof into a free open-air meeting place where musical traditions from across the globe unfold as living cultural archives.
5 years open. Already 5 years DURCHLÜFTEN. For the sixth time now, DURCHLÜFTEN transforms the Schlüterhof courtyard of Berlin’s Humboldt Forum into a vibrant open-air stage for global music, cultural dialogue, and shared experience. From 9 July to 1 August 2026, across four summer weekends, the festival presents 24 live acts and 12 DJs from around the world. Each evening features two concerts followed by a DJ set, creating twelve nights of musical discovery, movement, and encounter in the heart of Berlin — once again with free entry for all.
Nana Benz du Togo – “Voodoo tradition meets soul—built for the dance floor!” The band is named after the group of women who imported Mercedes Benz cars to Togo. This year, they performed at major festivals such as Down the Rabbit Hole, Roskilde, and North Sea Jazz. The ensemble consists of five members whose interplay spans a wide range of dynamics, from powerful to more subtle moments. Nana Benz du Togo create an organic sound shaped by deep sub-bass and layered polyrhythms, providing the foundation for the voices of three electrifying electro-soul preachers. With a minimal setup — primarily vocals and a vintage Korg keyboard — the group produces a direct yet richly textured sound. Their live shows are nothing short of spiritual — a blend of ancestral energy and modern fire that has left thousands in a trance across European stages.
