Studio Ghibli In Concert brings the enchanting world of legendary animated films to life for the first time in an exceptionally emotional live show in Berlin.

This special concert—by fans, for fans—is a passionate tribute to Joe Hisaishi, the master of unforgettable melodies from Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and many other anime classics.

After two sold-out tours in France and Belgium in 2024 and 2025, Studio Ghibli In Concert is finally coming to Germany for the first time in October 2026 – with enchanting visuals and a completely redesigned stage set that atmospherically brings the poetry of the films to life and lets the dream worlds of Ghibli films shine.

For over 30 years, Studio Ghibli films have touched people around the world – thanks to the visionary artistry of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, whose works blend dreams and reality, adventure and poetry. Hisaishi's music forms the shining heart of these cinematic masterpieces.

When the orchestra plays the most beautiful melodies of the Ghibli universe, a musical journey full of nostalgia, power, and magic unfolds: from the warm melodies of My Neighbor Totoro to the floating sounds of Chihiro's Journey to the Magic Land to the epic rhythms of Princess Mononoke.

Studio Ghibli In Concert promises an evening full of beauty, emotion, and musical magic—unforgettable for Ghibli lovers and anyone who celebrates the power of great film music.

This is a tribute concert and will take place without the presence of composer Joe Hisaishi.
