Final Edition - Musica di strada after work with live performance

After Work Ausstellungsführung – Führung und Livevorspiel - Sonderausstellung Musica di strada

After Work Ausstellungsführung – Führung und Livevorspiel - Sonderausstellung Musica di strada

In the past, organ grinders and pianolas brought the latest and most popular songs to Berlin's backyards and salons. The melodies and mechanical instruments still fascinate us today. At the Pankow Museum, you can listen to popular tunes on real barrel organs, perforated-plate music boxes and organettes after work. There is also a lot to learn about the Italian immigrants who brought the art of barrel organ building to Berlin and founded the world-famous company Cocchi, Bacigalupo and Graffigna in Schönhauser Allee. Their large orchestrion "Fratihymnia" still invites you to dance today with its large repertoire of hits and operettas.

Experience a tour of the exhibition in two languages, English and German. Of course with live performances of the mechanical instruments
