On four summer weekends, DURCHLÜFTEN transforms the Humboldt Forum’s Schlüterhof into a free open-air meeting place where musical traditions from across the globe unfold as living cultural archives.
5 years open. Already 5 years DURCHLÜFTEN. For the sixth time now, DURCHLÜFTEN transforms the Schlüterhof courtyard of Berlin’s Humboldt Forum into a vibrant open-air stage for global music, cultural dialogue, and shared experience. From 9 July to 1 August 2026, across four summer weekends, the festival presents 24 live acts and 12 DJs from around the world. Each evening features two concerts followed by a DJ set, creating twelve nights of musical discovery, movement, and encounter in the heart of Berlin — once again with free entry for all.
100 lbs of Summer is a Berlin-rooted reggae collective threading sun-soaked grooves through the city’s ever-shifting musical fabric with a vision to exist only during the summer months before disappearing into winter hiatus. It’s a fleeting presence, a seasonal ritual, built on the one drop and held together by deep respect for the genre that raised them.
Formed by musicians from different cultural backgrounds, each member brings a distinct voice shaped by the shared pulse of reggae that soundtracked their upbringings. Though all are immersed in their own thriving artistic and musical careers touring, producing, jamming, creating they carve out time, during the summer, to come together under the name 100lbs of Summer. This is a project for the reggae lovers: a rare, passion-driven gathering that lives and breathes only in the heat of the season.
