In cold or rainy weather, a swim in one of Berlin's indoor pools is a great alternative to an outdoor workout. There are simple, modern and historic public swimming pools in all corners of the city. All of Berlin's public indoor pools are equipped with diving pools of 25 or 50 meters in length. Almost all of them also have a non-swimmer area and integrated saunas. Combined pools (Kombibäder) also have an outdoor area with a summer pool and sunbathing lawn in addition to the indoor pool.
