606: Incidence in Berlin continues to decline

In Berlin, the incidence for the assessment of the Coronavirus pandemic has fallen slightly once again. In the past seven days, 606.2 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.

This is according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Wednesday morning (April 13, 2022). A week earlier, the incidence had still been at 811.1, on Tuesday at 659.

Over 5000 new infections in one day

According to the Senate's situation report and RKI data, more than 5100 new infections were reported within one day, which was about 600 more than the previous day. Since the pandemic began about two years ago, more than 950,000 infections have been detected for Berlin. Nine more people died - the death toll now stands at 4421.
