Incidence in Berlin continues to decline

The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin continues to fall slightly, but remains at a high level overall. In the past seven days, 814 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.

This is according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) from Tuesday (05 April 2022). On the previous day, the incidence was at 867. Nationwide, the weekly incidence for new infections is ataround 1394, according to the RKI.

Over 5000 new infections in one day

5222 new Corona infections were registered within one day. The total number for Berlin was thus 923,488. Six new deaths were added. Thus, 4392 deaths related to Corona infections have been counted so far.
