Coronavirus incidence falls below national average

The downward trend of the Berlin corona incidence continues: on Friday (Feb. 11, 2022) the value was 1413.8.

This is the first time in weeks that the incidence in Berlin is below the nationwide incidence. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the national average on Friday was 1472.2. Between Thursday and Friday, 10,164 new infections were reported in Berlin. Five additional deaths related to Covid-19 were reported. While the occupat´ncy rate of ICU beds with Covid patients remains below the 20 percent mark at 15.9 percent, the hospitalization rate remains well within the critical zone of Berlin's Coronavirus warning system with a value of 26.6.
